If you are taking public transport, you can use the bus. The bus stop Mogyoród, Hungaroring Főbejárat is right next to the track. You can get there by bus 321.
The Hungaroring is approximately 40 km from Budapest airport. You can drive there in around 30 minutes. If you take public transport, the journey takes about 2 hours.

The Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring is one of the longer races. Thanks to the various hills, the spectators have a great view of the track but it’s especially challenging for the drivers. The many curves and minimal straight sections of track make for nerve-wracking overtaking.
The full length of the race is 306 km with a circuit length of 4.3 km and a total of 70 laps. Lewis Hamilton currently holds the record for this track with 1.16 minutes and the team from McLaren has won most frequently at the Hungaroring with 11 victories.
